How to read DHA Lahore possession notices and DHA Karachi announcements: what to check
A guide to where DHA Lahore and DHA Karachi post possession notices, announcements and ballot results, how those pages were laid out on 3 November 2026, and what to check.
Last verified · 3 sources

DHA Lahore and DHA Karachi both publish notices for plot owners on their own websites. As of 3 November 2026 the pages are laid out differently, and neither page explains what a notice means. This guide describes what we saw on each page on 3 November, what to check in a notice, and what to ask DHA. It describes the pages only. We make no statement on any scheme, plot or approval, and the layouts may change.
DHA Lahore: the possession page
- Layout, as of 3 November. The possession page has tabs for Phases V, VI, VII, VIII, IX Town, IX Prism and XI (Rahbar). Each entry is a short label, such as a sector name or a plot number, and a date. Each entry opens a PDF.
- Dates, as of 3 November. Dates appear in mixed formats, for example “11-Sep-2026” and “21-5-2026”, and the order is not strictly by date. Check the date inside the PDF.
- Content of the notices. In October we read nine notices dated 7 to 22 September 2026, covered in our report on DHA Lahore possession notices. They gave plot numbers and counts. They did not give dues, conditions or development status, and two carried a conditional possession remark.
- Explanation, as of 3 November. The page text does not explain what a possession notice means, which dues or documents are needed, or what an owner should do next. The notice PDFs may say more, so read the one that applies to you.
DHA Karachi: announcements and ballots
- Announcements, as of 3 November. The announcements page lists each post as a thumbnail image, a date and a linked title, with no text under it. The newest entry was dated 30 October 2026. The title alone does not give the details, so open the post. Our report on DHA Karachi’s announcements on Phase VIII charges, transfer NOC and the mutation cell shows what one set of posts covered.
- Ballot results, as of 3 November. The ballot results page is a lookup form with a ballot name, a field for a CNIC number and a Submit button. It showed one ballot, with the line “Ballot Result Held on 29 July 2026”. We did not enter a CNIC number, so we do not know what a result looks like.
- Explanation, as of 3 November. Neither page explains what a result or announcement means for charges, transfers or possession.
What to check in any notice
- Source. Open the notice on DHA’s own site. A forward, a post on social media or a screenshot is a lead only.
- Date. Find the date on the notice itself and whether it is an effective date or a date of issue.
- Phase, sector and plot. Match every one to your own file or allotment papers.
- Remarks. Look for words such as “conditional” and read what they attach to.
- Anything missing. If the notice does not state dues, deadlines or documents, it has not told you them.
What to ask DHA
Plot owners may wish to write to the relevant DHA office and ask for the dues, documents and steps that apply to their own plot, and to keep the reply. A notice on a website is a general notice and not an account of your file. As of 3 November, DHA Lahore’s possession page footer lists an office address, office hours and contact details.
We will update this guide if either page changes how it presents notices.
