Policies
Editorial policy
How we source, write and check what we publish.
Sourcing
Every published story lists its sources at the end. We prefer primary sources: gazette notifications, ministry and regulator statements, court orders, central bank data and official statistics.
Original reporting and analysis
We do not copy other outlets. We summarise facts in our own words, add context and credit the original source.
Review
AI tools may assist with research and drafting. A human editor checks facts, figures and sources before publication.
Advertising and sponsored content
Advertising never influences coverage. Any sponsored content is clearly labelled as sponsored.
Sponsored content is labelled. It is based on material supplied by a developer or its agent. We report what the developer says, with dates, and list what it does not state. We do not verify sponsors' claims, we do not rank projects, and sponsored pages are not part of our news feed. Links to the developer are marked sponsored.
Content involving a developer or agency the publisher works with is labelled as sponsored or disclosed, and is kept apart from our news.
Corrections
Errors are fixed promptly and noted on the story. See our corrections page.
