APP, Radio Pakistan and The Express Tribune report a finance ministry statement of 28 October 2026: Rs511 billion approved and about Rs91 billion disbursed in 15,584 loans under Apna Ghar.
SBP's Monetary Policy Committee raised the policy rate from 11.5 to 12 percent on 26 October 2026, by nine of ten votes. The statement cites energy prices, wheat and inflation of 10.3 percent.
The Nation and Dunya News report that officials told a 14 October meeting chaired by the PM that Apna Ghar now needs five documents, not 25. The five are not named and no official notice was found.
