Capital Smart City developer's Final Notice sets 30 October as a later restoration date for cancelled plots
A Final Notice on the developer's page says cancelled plot locations can be restored until 30 October without surcharges, then until 13 November with them. New prices follow.

Future Developments Holdings (FDHL), the developer whose site carries the Capital Smart City notices, has posted a Final Notice that sets a later restoration date, 30 October 2026, than the 16 October date in its 26 September notice. The notice does not say whether it replaces the earlier date. We read the new notice on the company’s policies and public notices page on 16 October 2026. It was not in the page text we read on 15 October. These are the company’s statements, and we have not seen independent confirmation of how many members are affected.
What the Final Notice says
- Cancellations. The notice says all residential and commercial plot locations with unpaid installments, including cost of land, prime location and development charges, “have been cancelled”.
- Until 30 October 2026. Members who want to reinstate a cancelled location can clear all pending dues until this date. The notice says this also lets them avoid surcharges on their outstanding installments.
- 1 to 13 November 2026. The notice says restoration in this period is processed after paying all due surcharges.
- After 13 November 2026. The notice says new prices will be implemented and allocation will be given in new sectors.
- Location. The company says it cannot guarantee the same location as allotted earlier. It says it is allocating locations to members who clear all their dues, in order to shift their plot “from under developed to developed area”.
How it differs from earlier notices
The 26 September notice (reference FDHL/S&M/08/26/0990) said cancelled locations could be restored without surcharges until 6 October and with surcharges from 7 to 16 October, and called 16 October the final date. The 22 August notice set 6 September, and the 5 September notice moved it to 26 September and said no further extension would be given.
The Final Notice refers to notice 0990 as “dated September 23, 2026”. The 26 September notice on the same page carries the reference 0990 and the date 26 September 2026. We do not know why the two dates differ. The Final Notice’s entry on the page shows no reference number or date under its heading, as the dated notices do.
What we cannot say
The notice does not give the number of plots or members affected, the new prices, or which sectors the new allocations cover. It does not say whether the 30 October date applies to every block named in earlier notices. It says nothing about the project’s approval, NOC or layout plan status, and this article makes no statement on it.
What members may wish to check
Members unsure how the notice applies to their file may wish to ask the company in writing, ask for the amount due and the date it was calculated, and keep the reply. We will update this article if the company posts a further notice.
