As read on 15 October 2026. This explains notices published by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA). The notices are Urdu images with some English. We read them directly and have not independently confirmed any plot, price or availability.

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has advertised a public auction for Tuesday 3 November 2026. According to its notices, bidding starts at 10:00 am at the Expo Centre in Johar Town, Lahore. LDA’s auction page lists the entry as “Auction of Plots”, with an advertisement date of 11 October 2026 and an auction date of 3 November 2026. The three notices, issued by the Directorate of Housing-X (Auctions and Allotments), list 133 lots in total.

What the three notices list

  • Commercial plots (64 lots). The notice names Johar Town, Jubilee Town, LDA Avenue-1, Allama Iqbal Town, Tajpura, Sabzazar, Mustafa Town, LDA City, Quaid-e-Azam Town and Gujjarpura. It includes two lots it labels designated apartment sites in Jubilee Town.
  • Residential plots (45 lots). Located in Johar Town, Jubilee Town, LDA City, LDA Enclave and Tajpura.
  • Other sites (24 lots). Six public-benefit plots for education and medical facilities are offered for sale. The rest are offered as rental rights: nine education or health sites, four petrol pump sites, three marquee sites, one parking-floors site in Allama Iqbal Town and canteens at six LDA schools. The notice gives the lease term for each.

What each table shows

For every lot the notices give a block, a plot number, an approximate area, a security amount (the notice’s word is “zar-e-zamanat”) and a bid starting price. For plots the starting price is per marla. For the rental sites it is annual.

Two examples show how far the figures vary. A Johar Town residential plot, number 199 in block D-II, is listed at about 20 marla with a security of Rs3,700,000 and a starting price of Rs1,850,000 per marla. A commercial plot in LDA Avenue-1, number 22 in block CZ, is listed at about 4.78 marla with a security of Rs5,000,000 and a starting price of Rs10,000,000 per marla. Each lot has to be read in the notice itself.

What the notices do not say

The notices carry no registration steps, payment schedule or eligibility rules in their text. They refer readers to the directorate’s office at 467-D/II, Khayaban-e-Firdousi, Main Boulevard Muhammad Ali Johar Town, Lahore, to LDA’s sales web page (lda.gop.pk/sales) and to its mobile app. We have not seen any LDA brochure or auction conditions. This article states no approval or legal status for any plot or site.
